ROLLING DOORS & SHUTTERS

The automation of a shutter is obtained by simply inserting the motor, known as tubular due to its form, inside the tube around which the shutter is wound.

Control can be from the immediate vicinity, with a simple wall-mounted control, or via radio with a portable radio control.

The motor is powered by 230 V current. The motor moves reliably and precisely and is available with an emergency manoeuvre which can be used during black-outs to action the rolling shutter.

Automating a pre-existing rolling shutter is easy, convenient and fast thanks to the possibility of installing an automation system via radio with a control unit built in the tubular motor.

This solution avoids the cost and burden of masonry or the installation of unsightly cable ducts for routing control cables.

Automated rolling shutters avoid any effort for opening/closing, and guarantee perfect closure of the home in your absence.

Can all rolling shutters be automated?

The motors are suitable for virtually all types of shutter, traditional or integral, i.e. in the case of a shutter integrated with the window, for large openings and also very narrow openings.

A wide range of alternatives are available to create systems from simple, economic versions to more advanced home management versions.

Can the shutter invert movement in the presence of objects on the windowsill?

To guarantee increased safety, the tubular motor protects itself, the shutter and any other objects left inadvertently on the windowsill or edge of the window.

Due to the exclusive obstacle detection technology, the control unit stops the shutter and activates a brief inversion of movement, thus enabling removal of the obstacle and repetition of the movement command without damage.

Does the shutter block in presence of friction?

Continuous monitoring of force during movement guarantees reliable and precise movement even in the event of ice, rust or similar obstructions and avoids accidental inversions.

What is the difference between an automation with cable control and one with radio control?

In a wired system, via cables, the control is connected to the tubular motor by means of electric cables that transmit the commands to the motor, and the control unit can be built into the motor or concealed in the vicinity.

On radio systems, the controls are transmitted via radio waves, there are no electric cables between the motor and control. The control is mobile and therefore the user can operate the shutters also from another room. Installation of this type of system is quicker and avoids the need for building work.
